Rurisue supports Collie Rescue

My noble friend, with a heart and soul to match any in this Creation, the Collie dog.

The original Collie of the old days were black and white. Today's Collies are found in a variety of colors, such as sable and white (as the famous character of Lassie in TV and movies), tri-color, or blue merle. They also have two different coats, the Rough and the Smooth. My current Lad is a Rough sable, and is the fourth Collie friend to share my life.

Collie Rescue is a nation wide organization, helping place abandoned and abused Collies into good and loving homes. I am registered within my local community as Collie Rescue and support our national network. Over the years, I have only had to place two abandoned lads to new homes. However, in other areas, there are many Collies awaiting placement.
