July 08, 2008 Video, Video, Video.... I've added a separate VIDEO Page with embedded videos that I have uploaded to YouTube. These will replace most of the previous .wmv zip files that were originally available on the Downloads page; see the Information Section. (Some of these are remixed.) I have ALSO upgraded the Beta version of the OMOIKANE INTERFACE to 1024 Version 2.0 - stable; continuing to rework the look of the site. Comments?

June 26, 2008 I so much enjoyed making the last two music videos, that I decided to add yet another. To celebrate the site's ten year anniversary this summer, I've added the Ruri Hoshino - Swimsuit Edition video. There are 45 selected fanarts set to Anata no Ichiban ni Naritai. This will replace the previous swimsuit fanart zip - see the DOWNLOADS Page in the Information section.
June 25, 2008 Over the years I've struggled with ideas of how to share my Ruri fanart collection. I have made 2 music videos set to 75 & 40 fanart favorites from my Collection - see the VIDEO Page (new) in the Information section. Also added two larger animated gifs of Lapis in her Gallery pages. Continuing to experiment with the layout of the site...
June 17, 2008 I've added two new video clips to the episode 19 synopsis from the Nadesico 1000% CDR.
June 10, 2008 We are quickly coming up on the site's ten year anniversary and I am seriously reworking the look of the site. I have much more in the works before the official August anniversary date; stay tuned.
June 03, 2008 Continuing to rework the look of the site, adding OMOIKANE INTERFACE (1024-Beta Version).

May 26, 2008 Added four pages to the Information Section with 115 Production TV Character Sketches. Also in the Information Section, I've added a page for the Nadesico 1000% CDRs.
CONGRATULATIONS to the folks at NASA for the successful touchdown of the Phoenix Lander on Mars! ( 4:53 p.m. Pacific Time May 25, 2008 ) I have added a page for Phoenix in the Other Interests Section.

May 14, 2008 And again, another update to the Lapis page. I've reworked the Links page; fixing or removing as needed. I added a page for Dan Kanemitsu to the Information section. I have also been tweaking the look of the site here and there. Comments, contributions and suggestions are always welcome.

April 23, 2008 I have added a zip of 25 Ruri Wallpapers I have collected here and there - see the Downloads page. Also, I have added 5 new pics to the Lapis page in the Gallery. I recently had a request for more pics of Lapis, so I looked around to see what I could find.
April 09, 2008 I have reworked the Episode 19 Synopsis (TV Summary) with extra large pics. I have also left the original episode screencaps, now on a second page. I have also added a link to the Downloads page where I have added a zip of eighty-one sequenced screencaps of Ruri singing (4.1MB).
April 01, 2008 I have reworked the Episodes 16, 17 and 18 Synopsis (TV Summary) with larger pics. I have also left the original episode screencaps, now on a second page. Also, added two video clips to Episode 15.

October 23, 2007 I have reworked the Episodes 11, 12, 13 and 15 Synopsis (TV Summary) with larger pics. I have also left the original episode screencaps, now on a second page. (Episode 14 was a recap episode and will remain as is.)
I have also updated the Downloads section with a page for the song Anata no Ichiban ni Naritai. There in is posted a wonderful English translation by Adam Pulver. There are the romanji lyrics, the entire song in MP3, sheet music in .pdf, a link to a video from the anime, credits for the original Japanese version, as well as a link to Adam's website. (Information = Downloads)

I am currently working on a new coloring project from a scan of the manga ( HERE , size = 1MB ) I will post it in the future when I have finished. . If you are interested in submitting a colored rendition of this pic, e-mail me. I will be happy to add it to the site, with a credit. Please be patient for an e-mail response...

Q: Can anyone out there provide me with the name of the Japanese voice actor for "Cowboy Johnny" in Gekiganger 3? There is a picture of him on the Gekiganger seiyuu page with Japanese text, if anyone can translate that?

Jan 16, 2006 ---OK, so the new Japanese box set release for Nadesico has been announced for March 24, 2006. This is all new enhanced, remastered, new bonus materials, etc ....and (sorry) region 2 only. So when are we allowed a region 1 version of this???? 02/26/03 The airing of Nadesico on Cartoon Network was a huge disappointment. Cartoon Network chopped almost ten minutes off the episode I sat through leaving me wondering if I had dozed off. Their time slot choice was ridiculous, and their petty censorship was laughable. No opening or closing music was aired, and the ending credits were minimized to run a commercial over top. All in all, this is the worst handling I've seen yet for Nadesico; why bother. Anime News Network has a couple different articles on what was cut from what, as well as a take on ADV's comments on all this. The bottom line is that this show was never intended for a very young audience and should have been run at a later time. Nadesico originally ran in prime time in Japan.
